Sadness

 


Sadness


This one is very deep and comes from the core of my heart. Sadness is something that everyone experiences. It is not the best feeling, but it still reminds us that we are human. It shows that we still love because with the sadness love always follows to pick us right back up.


Your soul uses sadness so that you know something is needed and missing. We all should follow our feelings and go with what is needed. When sadness comes upon us its because we need to realign ourselves because we are not where we need to be. Of course with a loss we feel sadness and there is something that has departed from our life. But if we keep ourselves aligned we will never feel a void or loss in our lives. Which in return we will not feel that sadness that comes upon us.


This sense of feeling I know and respect. When I went through my separations and Divorce, I was always sad. It was like something was missing and I always thought it was the companion of my ex-spouses. Little did I realize until after I had left my second husband, it was not the companionship of one that I felt void or a loss. The Void and sadness was because I was missing a piece of me. See, when you are not a whole with your inner self, you feel a void. This is why we feel this void even when we do have someone in our lives. We think there is something missing from the partner we are with, when in reality it is an inner void within you that you is missing.


Sadness will overtake your life if you do not fix the void that you currently have within you. Yes, within you. Everyone always tries to point a finger to everything on the outer world, but in the real world which is the inner you, that is where you need to start. It might sound easy but it is not. Once you start to search your soul and search for the real you, the truth comes to surface and it is not always pretty. Have you heard the saying, "The truth shall set you free". It only will set you truly free when you clean out the closet in your soul. Because all anger, sadness, hurt always comes from within. We all know that, but why is it that we always try to fix the outside when all feelings come from within? Think about this for a minute. Analyse and realize this for one moment. If all feelings are within, why fixing something that is not were the core feelings are coming from? Can you fix a toy that does not stand because the concrete is not leveled? The toy was never broken, was it?? So why try hard to fix something that was never broken?


We were all taught how to "Fix" everyone else, when in reality the only thing that needs fixed and was forever broken was you. When I started to "Fix" me it was a hard journey. Everyone criticized me for trying to be a better person. People would condemn me to this so called hell. I was going against everything that everyone was taught to do. So, why am I getting condemned over something I wanted to do to me? Why was everyone telling me I was wrong for fixing me and to become a better loving person.


 It is because I did something that not a lot of people would do. We all want to be like everyone else. When it came down to realizing what I wanted and what my needs were, it seemed like my life was tearing apart because no one liked the "New" loving me. They wanted me to be a gossiper, back stabber, mean, negative and everything opposite from love.. These are the same people that would preach religion and make people feel less than what they are worth. I didn'twant to be this way. I learned to tell everyone that I respected their beliefs and to repect mine... Although, i had a lot of friends that were close to me depart, it brought sadness to me because I could not believe how a friendship dissolved so quickly for no true reason at all. But they did me a favor because I then became more balanced in  my life. I was able to feel true to myself. I was able to love and help more people.


Not all sadness is bad. It shows you a progress of growth, because when you have less and less of it in your life, you start noticing the times you are sad and you cannot compare it to the times of sadness in the past. When you are in the healing of yourself, the sadness starts to disappear and everyone around you that brought on the sadness starts to disappear as well. What a great feeling to know that the sadness in your life is not as intense as it was in the past. Knowing that you are a better person because you are doing something for you. It all starts from you.. Start to heal yourself and start to love the way you were made too..


remember sadness is not always bad!!

I have also tried to “fix” myself by changing the way I react to other people’s behavior and not letting anyone make me sad, but then I go back to square one and experience the same sadness and emptiness all over again. How do you create a “new you” to fill that inner void? I have everything a person can ask for, and yet deep within I feel as like something is missing.
